Audio/Video - Infrared Serial Controls
Remote Infrared Receiver
With
the Remote Infrared (IR) Receiver, devices such as Vantage remote
controls can send commands to the Master Controller. Each receiver
accepts IR codes to prompt the control of lighting, audio/video, or
any other component on the system.
|
Once the desired
components are attached to the Vantage system, an IR Receiver can
be programmed to recognize and respond to remote control commands
within its zone. A master controller can support up to 50 unique
IR zones, each with 256 individual commands.
The Remote IR
was designed to meet the style and design needs of any home. Using
a simple tension spring, the IR receiver quickly mounts to any flat
surface and can be painted to match the color of the room.
