The Infrared Emitter Station (IRX) allows many different components to be controlled on the Vantage system.

Signals are sent from the station though emitters to control infrared (IR) devices such as DVD and CD players, stereo receivers, televisions and more.

Keypads, remotes, sensors and more, can be programmed to actuate components connected to the IRX.

When a button is pressed or motion is detected a signal is sent through the Vantage system to the IRX which in turn sends a command to the appropriate device.

Vantage software contains a large library of IR codes to easily facilitate the integration of new products through the IRX. An IR learner is also available to learn and store additional codes.
