A masterpiece in Andalusia
With the creation of the Picasso Museum in Malaga, a dream held by Pablo Picasso has been fulfilled: a dedicated venue for his work in the heart of his beloved native city. In the meantime, this impressive museum has become a major attraction. It is housed in the Palacio de Buenavista, a palace in typical 16th century Andalusia style. Splendidly restored, it is wonderfully located in the old part of the city. To automate an historical building such as this one was quite a challenge for Vantage.
A Vantage work of art
Ready for the guided tour? Domosat, Vantage dealer in the area has been designing, project managing and installing home automation and high end custom audio/video systems for over 15 years and now comes with us in this amazing journey. We are immediately impressed. By the vast collection of all the great artist’s creative periods with paintings, sculptures, drawings, sketches, ceramics that were donated by Picasso’s heirs. From austerity and elegance that set the primary accents everywhere in the premises. And by the automation which is unmistakeably by Vantage.
Vantage operates all the lighting in the exhibition rooms, offices, communal areas and in the auditorium.
There is also a highly sophisticated audio/video system on hand for the conferences, presentations and performances that take place here. As one would expect, it too is fully integrated in the Vantage system.
Discreet and user-friendly
Vantage also operates all Venetian blinds and sun blinds in the building. Various types of sensors also lend a hand, such as indoor and outdoor light sensors, rain and wind sensors. Highest level of comfort and yet remarkably unobtrusive. A must for projects like this.
Would the person in charge like to intervene? This can be done via a TPT1210 touchscreen that can be operated smoothly and visually, with the added advantage of direct feedback on the touchscreen.
“Everything you imagine is real.†With that quote by Picasso, which happens to be a perfect reflection of Vantage’s underlying philosophy, we end our tour of the museum.
